At Sea...

As of two days ago, I am 23 years old:

We've now been on the road for two weeks, and I haven't wanted to spend the time to keep this posting up. I know, how hard could it be? If you only knew how annoyingly hard it is to type on French keyboards.

Long story short; we have managed quite a bit in these two weeks. London for a day, Amsterdam and all it's fun happenings for three. Paris was comfortable to return to for two days, and we visted the National Monument where Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves was filmed (let's just say it was a childhood fantasy come to life. Complete with fake arrow shooting from the castle walls) in Carcassonne. The Social Movement's strike in France caused a hectic day of travel to Monaco by train, and there we got much accomplished. My birthday on the 26th was spent watching time trials for the F1 Grand Prix in Monte Carlo, and visiting the Museè Ocèanographique that was founded by the Prince of Monaco and Jaquès Cousteau. It inspired us to form our own scientific group, that will now head up operations in discovering the rest of Europe.

the Ocèqnographique Exploratory Society (t.O.E.S.) specializes in Aquatology and other Maritime Sciences. It's founding members are: Christopher McCandless, PhD (the scientist); Captain Thatch Harrington (the pilot); Ernst Winterburry (species cartographer); and Sissi Caldwell (documentarian). They are known throughout the world for their groundbreaking invention, the AstroSub, a submarine with an astro-lab allowing you to navigate by the stars underwater. As we continue our journey, we members of t.O.E.S. will be renting a vehicle in Milan, Italy, and driving throughout it's wine regions, documenting their discoveries. So, until next entry...

In the end,

Oh I've been traveling on a boat and a plane
In a car on a bike with a bus and a train
Traveling there and traveling here
Everywhere in every gear

But oh Lord we pay the price with a
Spin of a wheel - with a roll of a dice
Ah yeah you pay your fare
And if you don't know where you're going
Any road will take you there

This is more of a test post to see how things are working. Long story short, I will be traveling to Europe this Saturday, May 13th, and won't return for two months. This will be a place that I can put down what's been going on, and how exactly its been going. My two friends and I will be wandering the continent, dabbling in the customs of the regions and taking part in celebrating this year's World Cup in Germany. So if you've come here by sheer luck, I hope you enjoy, and if you're one of my friends, I wish you could come along.
